Since January 1st, 2009; the Wonka Vision staff have been putting together the best limited-edition contest we’ve offered in a long time. It only took 8 months but we eventually got all 4 band members on the cover of Wonka Vision #42 to each sign 20 copies of the magazine. These 20 copies of Wonka Vision #42 are signed by Fat Mike (NOFX), Tim McIllrath (RISE AGAINST), Justin Sane (ANTI FLAG) and the legendary BILLY BRAGG.
10 OF THESE 20 LIMITED-EDITION MAGAZINES ARE UP FOR GRABS and every person who subscribes to Wonka Vision between October 1st, 2009 and March 1st, 2010 will automatically be entered in the contest. Ten lucky winners at random will be announced March 15th and will each receive an autographed, framed copy of Wonka Vision #42!
Wonka Vision #42 is completely sold out which makes this contest all the more rare!

QUICK PICKS

ANTI-FLAG
The People or the Gun.
Topical and relevant as a blog rant, Anti-Flag rails against bailouts, reminisces about listening to classic punk records and ferociously advocates for change -- but not the cute-and-cuddly mainstream variety with which elections are won. The tunes are melodic, but the lyrics are fierce, stopping just short of calling for anarchy.

NOFX
Coaster
Twenty-five years into a landmark career, NOFX is still razor-sharp and still fun. With songs like “First Call” and “Creeping Out Sara,” in which Fat Mike suggests a threesome with Tegan and Sara Quin, the band reminds us that punk can be political, relevant — and downright silly.

RISE AGAISNT
Appeal to Reason
Despite the aggression and the subject matter -- “Hero Of War” brutally chronicles a soldier’s tale from recruitment pitch to committing atrocities on prisoners of war -- Appeal To Reason is not a bitter album. Vocalist Tim McIlrath infuses the 13 tracks with a sense of urgency, but it’s a hopeful one. [Interscope] WWW
BILLY BRAGG
Mr. Love and Justice
With a renewed focus on roots rock, thanks in part to Robert Plant’s recent foray, let’s not forget Billy Bragg, who has been combining authentic British punk with folk music for 30 years. Here, he merges jaunty pub fare with Mermaid Avenue-esque folk, and it’s all in his distinct style. [Anti] WWWW
